Right, so, I was eating lunch today at school and my friend Brigid and I were laughing like mad laughing things which, quite frankly, is the norm. Anyway, during said laughing fit, my eyes fell apon a juice box of sorts. I got up and shuffled towards it, planning what I should do. Pick it up and put it in the bin perhaps? No way! I had far better plans for the little boxy thing, plans that would drastically change my day. Brigid understood my motives almost instantaneously and calmed down enough to tell me not to do the 'naughty deed'. In fact, I remember exactly what she said... "Vanity, don't think about it!" Now, at times like these, one must turn to Russell Brand's booky wook and use his actions as something to look up to. "Vanity, don't think about it!" Why say that? Had she not said anything, I probably would have returned to my seat beside her simply because having an uninterested audience makes creating a scene seem pointless. But in the sentence, "Vanity, don't think about it!", the word "don't" is feeble, impotent and easy to ignore. Whereas, "Vanity, think about it" has a real linguistic verve; As Russel might say and agree, It could be a slogan, a catchphrase, a banner by which nations could unite. So the moment she informed me not to "think about it", boy did I think about it! I jumped on that juice box. I jumped on it and, unfortunately, it hadn't been emptied, so the liquidy content exploded from its boxy prison and sprayed Brigid, rendering her sodding wet! Oh dear! I don't think she'll ever forgive me, but it was, without a doubt, the most spectacular thing you could possibly witness!
